The Whitewater Club at SOU was started in the Winter term of 2006 by a group of students with a love for rivers, creeks and the canyons containing them. Since then we have taken students, faculty and staff on over 100 river trips ranging from half day to four days, class II to class V.

The mission of the Whitewater Club:

"To provide the students, faculty, and staff of Southern Oregon University with the knowledge, experience, and love for rivers to safely explore the rivers and creeks of Southern Oregon and Northern California."
